A calm peaceful forest

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught in the whirlwind of stress. At Double Loop Coaching, we believe that acknowledging stress is the first step towards mastering it.

Stress is a natural response to a challenging situation. It’s the body’s way of preparing to face a threat, triggering the release of hormones that enhance our focus and energy. While stress in moderation can be motivating, chronic stress can wreak havoc on our physical and mental wellbeing. Additionally, it can hamper our decision-making abilities, strain our relationships and stifle our creativity. In the UK alone, half a million people are suffering from work-related stress.

So, today, on Stress Awareness Day, we want to remind you that your wellbeing matters. We are here to help you find your calm amidst the chaos.

Freedom from stress does not necessarily involve giving up anything, but rather being able to let go of anything, when necessary, and know that one will still be all right. It comes from being more independent—not necessarily more solitary, but more reliant on one’s own inner resources for stability.
